The Association is affiliated to the British Orienteering Federation (BOF) and covers the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
The association consists of 7 Open Clubs and 3 University Clubs. The clubs are based in and serve the following areas:
- Aston University Orienteering Club (AOK)
- City of Birmingham Orienteering Club (COBOC) - Birmingham
- Birmingham University Orienteering Club (BUOC)
- Harlequins Orienteering Club (HOC) - Birmingham, Black Country, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, (parts of) South West Staffs & South Shropshire
- Malvern and District Orienteers (MADO) - part of HOC - the name says it all.
- Octavian Droobers (OD) - Coventry & Warwickshire
- Potteries Orienteering Club (POTOC) - North Staffordshire
- University of Warwick OC (UWOC) + Ex-Warwick Orienteering Klubb (?EWOK?)
- Walton Chasers Orienteering Club (WCH) - South Staffordshire
- Wrekin Orienteers (WRE) - Telford, Shrewsbury & rural Shropshire
- Wye Valley Orienteers [WYE] - Herfordshire (currently 'dormant')
